9.10. Sensors of the processor block

Engine temperature sensor
Check
1. The sensor needs check at the complicated launch of the engine and in case of detection of a code 13 in the self-diagnostics mode (see above).

2. If the engine is not started and there are strong indications of incomplete combustion of fuel, then disconnect the plug and repeat start attempt. If the engine is not started, then turn out the sensor and check its resistance depending on temperature (photo). If resistance differs from norm, then replace the sensor. Otherwise check a sensor chain.
3. Install the sensor upside-down.

4. The sensor needs check in case of detection of a code 35 in the self-diagnostics mode (see above).
5. If круизконтроля the engine works in the mode unstably, then disconnect the socket and check the course of the car (photo).
6. If the course of the car improved, then replace the sensor. Otherwise include ignition and check tension on a socket conclusion which has to be about 5 V (photo).

7. Switch off ignition and check a chain for the weight (photo).
8. If tension differs from 5 V or in a chain there is a break, then replace the sensor.
Check of the sensor of oxygen
9. The sensor needs check in case of detection of a code 33 in the self-diagnostics mode (see above).
10. If круизконтроля the engine works in the mode unstably, then disconnect the socket and check the course of the car (photo).
11. If the course of the car improved, then replace the sensor. Otherwise bring turns to 2000 rpm and 2 min. later be convinced that on the processor block the green signal blinks.
12. On V6 engines at the included ignition check tension between a conclusion of the socket A and weight which has to be about 12 V (photo),
13. Switch off ignition and check a chain for the weight (photo).

Attention!
On V6 engines a chain the ohmmeter has to show a chain between a conclusion And yes weight, and on the K24 engine between a conclusion and and a conclusion of the 19th socket on the processor block.

14. If tension differs from 12 V or in a chain there is a break, then replace the sensor.

Check and replacement of the sensor of air temperature (on the K24 engine)
15. The sensor needs check in case of detection of a code 41 in the self-diagnostics mode (see above).
16. Open the socket of the sensor (photo) and at included
ignition check tension between a conclusion of the socket B and weight which has to be about 5 V (photo).
17. If tension meets standard, then switch off ignition and check a chain between a conclusion And yes weight.
18. Check the sensor resistance which has to be at 20 °C 2,1 2,9 Ohms, and at 80 °C 270300 Ohms.
19. In need of replacement turn out the sensor from the air filter and screw new.
